What do I get with my ticket purchase?

The purchase of your $35 ticket includes much more than just access to the venue. Along with the wonderful company and shared experience, attendees will be treated to a delightful assortment of fruit and veggie trays. Dessert, chips, refreshing water, and of course, tableware to ensure everyone can comfortably enjoy the provisions. It’s a true communal event, with each guest contributing by bringing along a dish to share. Keep in mind that as this is a potluck gathering, the variety of dishes is bound to be diverse, which means you may get to savor some of the items, and miss out on tasting a few other dishes or treats.

What happens after I purchase my ticket?

The confirmation for your purchase will come via the email you provided when making your purchase. You will receive a virtual ticket(s) that will get you into the event. It’s essential to keep an eye on your inbox as important details and any changes regarding the event will be communicated to you through the email address you provided during the purchase process. Can I bring a guest?

Parking

The parking is very limited as this is an apartment complex. When considering the parking situation within the apartment complex, it’s important to note that due to the limited availability, residents and visitors may encounter challenges when trying to find a suitable parking space. This may lead to inconvenience and potential frustration, especially during peak hours or busy periods. As a practical solution, utilizing alternative transportation services such as Uber or Lyft can alleviate the stress of searching for parking, providing a more efficient and convenient experience for all involved. Where is the location?

The invitation to join us at the community rec space at the Duo Apartments is an exciting opportunity that offers a multitude of amenities and activities for everyone to enjoy. This modern facility provides access to various features such as TVs for entertainment, ovens and BBQs for culinary adventures, a refreshing pool for relaxation, a game area for friendly competition, and both indoor and outdoor spaces for socializing and fun. The new and well-maintained environment creates a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, offering a fantastic space to entertain and connect with your peers.

Do I have access to the pool?

Certainly! The option to swim is entirely voluntary, offering a refreshing way to unwind, but it’s important to note that there are no dedicated lifeguards available to provide supervision or assistance. This means that individuals should exercise caution and be mindful of their own safety while enjoying this recreational activity. Don’t forget a change of clothing and a towel!

What is the time duration for the event?

The schedule for the event dictates that hosting will commence at 3:00 PM and continue until 10:00 PM. Cleanup will begin at 9:30 PM to ensure that we vacate the facility punctually, enabling us to conclude the event smoothly and depart the venue as scheduled.

What do I bring to share with guests?

You can bring things to cook on the grill, in the oven (like appetizers), snacks, things you think make for a good potluck event. Costco is down the street, so you can always pick ready-made dishes. There is also a refrigerator at the facility to make things easier if you choose to make a homemade dish.

Will there be alcohol?

We are NOT providing alcohol. However, it is BYOB. You can choose to share or bring just for yourself. There will be water available for everyone (committee provided).
